An overheated battery cable increases the risk of a fire.

What was recalled

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 FOSV-CA vehicles. The interconnect battery cable routed between the chassis battery and the auxiliary batteries may overheat.

What to do

Dealers will reroute the interconnect connections to the fused terminal, replace the interconnect battery cables with higher-gauge cables, and inspect and replace the solenoid as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is MAB-3258..
