A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles. Incorrect software in the motor control processor module (MCPA) may cause a loss of drive power.

What to do

Dealers will update the MCPA software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 31, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 99B.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
