What was recalled

Cummins, Inc. (Cummins) is recalling certain X15 diesel engines with part number D103019BX03, Cummins X15 re-manufactured engines with part number DR7989-RX, Cummins X15 fuel pump barrel service kits with part number 631058000, 6310580PX, X15 fuel pump service assemblies, with part numbers 559463000, 559462500, 5594630PX, 5594625PX, and X15 overhaul kits, with part numbers 632445200RX and 632445500RX. The fuel pump barrels may fracture and cause a fuel leak, which can result in an engine stall.

What to do

Cummins will replace the fuel pump barrels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2024. Owners may contact Cummins Customer Service at 812-377-5000. Cummins number for this recall is C7083.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
