What was recalled
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels sold as accessories for 2016-2021 Civic vehicles. A manufacturing error may allow the wheels to detach from the vehicle.
What to do
Dealers will inspect the wheels and replace the hubs and wheels as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2025. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is MMZ. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 6, 2025.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
