Incorrect wheel bolts can allow a wheel to loosen or detach from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2025 G580 vehicles. The incorrect wheel bolts may have been installed during vehicle manufacturing.

What to do

Dealers will replace the wheel bolts, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed May 29, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on April 2, 2026..
