An automatic emergency braking system that does not function as intended can increase the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2025 AMG G63 and G 580 vehicles. The front short-range radar sensor printed circuit board may fail and result in a loss of automatic emergency braking and other driver assistance features, including the active brake assist, lane keeping assist, and Distronic cruise control.

What to do

Dealers will replace the short-range sensor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 26, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2025110002. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 24, 2025..
