A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
What was recalled
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 FEC7K and FEC9K RIZON trucks. Excessive current may damage the circuit and cause the vehicle control unit to malfunction, resulting in a loss of drive power.
What to do
Dealers will inspect and replace any discolored or deformed connectors as necessary and install a sub harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 20, 2025.
