Unintended activation of the hydronic heating system can produce harmful gas, increasing the risk of injury.

What was recalled

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The hydronic heating system wiring may be incorrectly connected to constant 12V power, which can cause the hydronic heating system to unintentionally activate.

What to do

Dealers will repair the wiring, and disconnect the hydronic heating system from constant 12V power, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 20, 2026.
