Referencing the incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2022 Utilimaster Aeromaster vehicles. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

What to do

Shyft will install new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2026. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-03.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
