Why it was recalled
Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.
What was recalled
Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2019-2026 General 65, General 80, General 95, C4000, C5000, and C6000 digger utility trucks equipped with pole guides. An insufficient weld on the plate weldment may crack, causing the retaining pin to separate.
What to do
Owners will inspect the plate weldment for any cracks or abnormal welds. Dealers or owners will replace the plate weldment as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN737..
